I would like to claim this space as my own. This is where I will try to express how I feel on what I’ve seen firsthand. I am not a journalist here, I don’t carry the name of any agency. I write as myself.

I’ve blogged before, and I enjoyed it even if I’m not that good a writer. I’m a particularly inarticulate one, in fact. I have to admit that I stopped because I listened to people I respected who disagreed with how open I was about my opinions.

I will never always be right. But then again, who is? But that is the beauty of engaging.

Conversations with people are like facing mirrors. Sometimes we’re too familiar with what we think we know, but there are things we only clearly see once somebody else is there to show us. It’s discussion that brings about so many things that we aren't aware of. It’s that kind of interaction that I looked forward to, more than the number of likes or shares or +1's or whatever form of affirmation I can get for a photo.

This blog may offend. It might be a venue for disagreements and conflicting views. What it won't do is preach. I will not attempt to impose my views, or claim they are the only correct ones. It’s up to you to hear what I want to say, I’m always willing to hear from you.

This space is my own, but I open it to you.
