People of the Storm is an on-going project that explores the psychosocial aftereffects that disasters can have on the people it affects. The project is a collection of photographs that are taken when individuals are asked to reflect on how they remember their ordeal in front of a camera years after the disaster has passed. It aims to show the long-term emotional and psychological effects these events can have on survivors and intends to show how relevant counselling is for people who are found in such situations.
