Thousands of photos are taken during assignments, making the ratio of photos that are published to the ones that never see the light of day astounding. I find that a lot of photos memorable to me are the ones that are usually unpublished. More often than not, it's the private snippets of moments that take you back to a certain feeling, certain mood or state that beome the most memorable to you as a person.
